Dennis Hopper (1936-2010)

Born May 17th, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas, Dennis Hopper made his directorial debut with the 1969 film Easy Rider, and is best known for his roles in such films as Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, Hoosiers and Speed. Today, the legendary actor and director has passed away, due to a long battle with prostate cancer.
The last feature film he directed was Chasers in 1994, and his last on-screen role is in the upcoming feature The Last Film Festival. His voice will also be heard in the upcoming animated film Alpha and Omega. Take a look back over his impressive filmography here, spanning from 1954 to 2010.
Dennis Hopper is survived by his four children. He will be missed by many, may he rest in peace.
