Constructing Green Lantern: From Page to Screen Book Review by Erin V.

After the book starts with a brief history of the Green Lantern comics, we then get the story of how the production came together and the vision was brought to screen.  The book is sorted nicely into three parts, covering everything from casting, to characters, to putting together the climactic final battle.

Constructing Green Lantern is well put together, and easy to read as part art book, part production journal.  Along with the text, the book contains images of visual design concepts from the art department, storyboards, a look at the makeup and more.

While the film didn’t do that well critically or at the box office, (barely making back it’s budget), I still found it fun, and for anyone interested in the production of how films like this are put together the book is worth a read.
