Blu-ray Release: Catch Me If You Can

December 4, 2012

Catch Me If You Can Blu-ray CoverToday, Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing Steven Spielberg’s excellent 2002 film Catch Me If You Can for the first time on Blu-ray, just in time for Christmas.  The film is based on the true story of Frank Abignale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio), an 18-year-old con man who made money by successfully passing himself off as a pilot, doctor and lawyer, with FBI agent Carl Henratty (Tom Hanks) hot on his trail.

With an excellent cast that also includes Christopher Walken in an Oscar nominated supporting performance and Amy Adams in her first major role, Catch Me If You Can is an exciting and incredibly entertaining film that still holds up.  With several integral scenes taking place at Christmas, December is the perfect time of year to revisit the film and this brand new Blu-ray release would make a great gift.

The Blu-ray includes a photo gallery and numerous featurettes on everything from the real story behind the film to the casting and John Williams’ Oscar-nominated score.

Catch Me If You Can is 141 minutes and rated PG.
