Blu-ray Release: Kung Fu Panda 3
By John Corrado
The third film in the popular series, Kung Fu Panda 3 follows Dragon Warrior Po (Jack Black) as he reunites with his birth father (Bryan Cranston), and has to save their panda village from the otherworldly villain Kai (J.K. Simmons).
Boasting beautifully rendered animation, and enough heartfelt themes to make it resonate with audiences of all ages, this is an entertaining film that is often as likeable as its cuddly title protagonist. My full review of Kung Fu Panda 3 can be found right here.
The Blu-ray also includes a few deleted scenes, a couple of featurettes, as well as some other bonus videos. It’s a fine selection of extras, but mainly geared towards kids.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is a 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment release. It’s 95 minutes and rated G.
